How to set "User Permissions" in Cellica Database ( SOHO/Enterprise Edition)?

In this tutorial, we will see how to set different data access permissions to individual users in the Cellica Database application.

You can assign permissions to a user for read-write or just read-only data while adding a user in “User Manager” module of Cellica Database desktop application.

You can also set access permissions at “Profile Level”.

While adding a profile, on “Select User Page”, click on the “Sync Back” property. Here you can set record manipulation permissions of the selected user for the current profile. You can set “Add/Edit/Delete” record permissions.

Sometimes you just want to synchronize profiles in one way.

For example: Some profiles may update only on your desktop and some users just need to view it Or You may want to use some profiles for just data collection purpose from some device application.

Also you can set record manipulation permissions of user for any profile after profile creation is completed using “Add/remove Users” option.
